Upgrading the level of publications of the Ministry of Culture, qualifying and developing the work of cultural centers, facilitating popular culture avenues, and enriching them with modern innovations, encouraging various groups of society to benefit from literary and scientific heritage, transferring culture to remote areas and villages, and developing the existing movie and theater product.
The rest of the existing cultural centers were restructured, the foundations for preparing their cultural programs were developed, and the government finished preparing a draft legislative instrument to create a higher institute for cinematic arts. The first phase of a plan for decentralized cultural activities has been accomplished in various Syrian governorates, including artistic, cinematic, theatrical demonstrations and book fairs.
