The measure is to encourage the co-production between Cambodian Film Production companies and other foreign film production companies. In 2013 Cambodia has signed a Cambodia-French Film Co-Production Treaty. Oscar winning director Regis Wargnier shot the GATES in Cambodia which marks the first official French-Cambodian co-production after setting up of a bilateral treaty in 2013.

Surging more bilateral and multilateral agreements for co-production of films between Cambodian film companies and foreign film companies.To increase the co-film production and to develop human resources for international standards in the field of film.
