The necessity of implementing the measure is conditioned by the need to apply a competitive, fair and transparent principle, to increase the quality and efficiency in various sectors of art, as well as to ensure equal starting conditions for creative, state, non-state organisations and individual creators. In 2019, through the introduction of an open-competition system of grants for the purpose of ensuring a favourable environment for full expression and realisation of creative abilities, more than 80 creative programmes in various sectors of culture have been supported, in which CSOs, state and non-state creative organisations operating in the culture sector participated.
More than 60 CSOs, state and non-state creative organisations received state support for the implementation of creative programmes, in particular:
? Theatre arts: 19 performances (pantomime, puppet, children's performances and other genres);
? Music: in 18 different genre directions and formats (classical, folk, jazz-music, symphonic, chamber, choral, vocal);
? Dance: 6 performances (1 plastic-dance, 3 ballet, 1 of which is children's, 2 dance performances);
? Cinema/Audiovisual arts: 37 film projects.
