Understanding culture as a driver of change towards sustainable development; strengthening artistic engagement with the spaces where culture and nature, and people and the environment meet; holding a European sustainability conference in 2020 during Germany's Presidency of the Council of the EU and within the framework of the European Sustainable Development Networks (ESDN)
Concept for a "culture of sustainability" integrated into the 2017 update of Germany's National Sustainable Development Strategy; approaches from the creative industry used to support societal processes and developments; 2030 Agenda presented as proof of successful multilateralism
