What the fellow says:

"This fellowship has allowed me to consult and work oneon-one with government institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations and academies that deal with the issue of light weapons and crime.

I am continuing research on the subject of weapons, including anti-personnel mines, unexploded objects and submunitions. In particular, my work focuses on anti-mine efforts like de-mining and mine clearing, and the assistance given to mine victims in Senegal, Burundi, Rwanda, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Chad."
