The Project was officially launched in 2001 when the Government of Japan has generously offered 20 fellowships per year for the benefit of developing countries, especially the least developed countries (LDCs).
This project has been designed to contribute to the capacity-building and research activities in the Organization’s four priority areas, namely:
(2) Intercultural Dialogue;
(3) Information and Communication Technologies; and
(4) Peaceful Conflict Resolution.
A total of 99 Member States, had benefited from this programme as shown below:
