Nazmi Abdel-Salam Al-Masri is an Associate Professor of TEFL & curriculum development. He obtained his PhD from Manchester University, UK, in 1994. Since then, he has been teaching several courses at the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) and teaches undergraduate and master's courses, including the use of modern techniques in teaching English and courses for teachers in the development and evaluation of curricula and teaching methods. He held many administrative positions at IUG. The last was Vice-President for Foreign Affairs 2015-2017. Dr. Al-Masri participates in the preparation and management of several international projects in partnership with many countries in the field of education, especially languages. He is currently managing a project with Tampere University (TUNI), Finland in addition to other projects with University of Glasgow (UofG), Britain and University College of Southeast Norway (NO-HSN).
