AFUS & Memory & Future Club | Silk Roads : From old pathways to new highways

UNESCO’s Silk Roads project mobilized thousands of researchers, journalists, artists and educators in more than fifty countries along the historical Silk Roads and beyond to facilitate exchanges of experiences and develop a common understanding of various aspects of this history. It contributed to the redefinition of such concepts as interculturality, common heritage, cultural diversity and plural identity.  

To discuss the Silk Road Project, the Memory and Future Club has invited Doudou Diène, who was its initiator in 1988, and Ali Moussa-Iye, who took up the relay and is now responsible for its Second phase in the framework of the “Routes of Dialogue” Programme.
