I am a researcher working on food systems and agriculture at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) in London, UK. Particular focus on small-scale agriculture, informal/traditional food systems, diets and consumption. Recent pieces of work include a stock-taking exercise on smallholder inclusion in modern value chains, understanding issues of quality and safety in traditional dairy markets, and bringing together civil society organisations to co-create a locally led vision for food systems transformation. My background is in the social sciences and food.
