I head Ethiopia’s Society for Technology Studies (STS), which pursues its mission through science, technology and innovation (STI) policy research, training, policy advocacy, and knowledge dissemination seminars. I am also working with Ethiopian Academy of Sciences as Director of its Science Center. I have knowledge and experience in science, technology and innovation policy issues and consulted for international and regional organizations. I hold a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University and an MSc in Science and Technology Policy from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland.
